Best friends Vincent Perkins and Isaac Dagesse formed Be The Blame in the fall of 2014 after a falling out with their previous band, Reach Friday. They connected with former Reach Friday drummer Jacob Before about joining this new band, originally named Name In Lights, and Jacob jumped on board with the idea. A month or two after, the threesome hired Logan Jefferson as their vocalist. They played their first show at a Halloween music festival, with (now ex) 1000 Frames member Tyler Chase filling on bass (due to their original bassist quitting a week before the show). Shortly after this gig, Vincent, who originally sang alongside Logan, decided to move to bass, due to a lack of interested bass players. Logan Jefferson eventually stepped down on vocals, and months later, Tyler Chase was officially hired into Be The Blame as their new vocalist, as well as taking guitar duties. On May 13th, they released their debut album, "Methods To Reach Home," which they recorded and produced themselves in Tyler's amateur music studio, Tiny Room Studios.
